Winston Churchill in his book “Painting As a Pastime” could not say enough about what a pleasurable experience it is to paint in watercolour. Prince Charles paints in this medium and it has long been loved by the Royals. And we love it too. This course covers the basics and then allows for the magic that happens when this medium is used. We will work on the elements and principles of art and there will be some theory every week imbedded into the project for the week. Demos in every class.
Participants must purchase supplies ahead of time and bring to each class. Please find a list of suggested supplies below:
Intro Set Reeves 12 Colour Tubes $12.99
Package of Paint Brushes $12.99
Pad of Canson 11 x 15, 140 lb. watercolour paper $ 26.99
